January 2025: Philippine Mars

Quite a sight to see such a small boat pulling such a large plane. They were heading to Pacific Industrial Marine for enough repairs to fly back to Sproat Lake to get its ailing engine repaired for its flight down into the USA.

October 2024 #2: Rogues Gallery

Not sure if they are thinking "I'm too sexy for my flippers"!

October 2024 #1: Irate Bald Eagle

This Bald Eagle was being harassed by seagulls. Being in a bad mood, he glared at me as I took this photo.

September 2024: Moma & Baby

A mother and baby swam by the other day. Dad was further back.

August 2024: The Owl and the Moon

It was a near a Harvest full moon. After a cursory flight, the owl landed on the topmost branches to take time to stare at the mesmerizing moon. Some say the tree is pointing to moon with an open mouth. Some say they see a sad faced imaged within the tree. So much to see in one photo. Click on the photo. What do you see?

July 2024: Orange glow

Fall and spring offer wonderly coloured morning as the sun attempts to poke through. Oranges and red dominate this time of day.

June 2024: Award Winning Skyburst

This photo was chosen as one of the winners of Greenpeace Canada’s 2024 photo contest! Additionally, the photo will be featured in the Spring/Summer edition of the Greenpeace magazine next year.
